CODE SWITCHING AS A MAIN SUBJECT OF SOCIOLINGUISTICS

One of the main subjects of linguistics nowadays is definitely code-switching. But for a variety of reasons, the interest in researching bilingualism by means of linguistic feature comparison in speech has not always been clearly visible. Originally undertaken under the structuralist paradigm, the first studies laying the foundation for the research of code-switching. Language contact was seen in this paradigm as a conflict between language and speech: bilingualism was studied from the viewpoint of the interplay of two language systems, while the living embodiment of language in speech activity did not get due attention. Structuralism regards language and its grammar as a self-sufficient, sophisticatedly structured system of interrelated elements. In this sense, code-switching is understood as the outcome of interference processes, therefore upsetting the structural integrity of this system.

Adolescence is marked by enhanced visuospatial and decision-making abilities linked to elevated testosterone levels, though excess may lead to impulsivity. In adulthood, balanced testosterone positively impacts memory, verbal fluency, and decision-making. Conversely, age-related testosterone decline is associated with increased risks of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

A number of factors are important in increasing the relevance of the issue of creating a PM1 and PM10 particle collection device in the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan. The arid and semi-arid climate of Uzbekistan leads to an increase in the concentration of dust and particles in the air. As a result of climate change, industrial development and urbanization processes, the level of air pollution is increasing, which requires monitoring of PM1 and PM10 particles. These particles can negatively affect human health, cause the development of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
The growth of industry and the increase in vehicles increases the amount of PM1 and PM10 particles in the air. Monitoring and collecting particles allows the state and the public to assess the level of air pollution. With the help of modern technologies, the processes of detecting and collecting PM1 and PM10 particles are being improved. By creating innovative devices, it is possible to develop effective solutions that are suitable for climatic conditions. This study aims to analyze the relevance of creating a PM1 and PM10 particle collection device in the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan.
