Abstract

Urbanisation, Globalisation, Industrialisation, Modernisation and ICT concepts are the main process in current scenario. The social structure and construction has been changing due to these modern phenomena. Industrialisation and Globalisation, Industrialisation, Urbanisation, Modernisation and ICT are always focusing on industrial investment and economic growth process. In 18th century, industrial revolution took place first time in United Kingdom. After that its effects spread on all over the world which was the symbol of Globalisation, Industrialisation, Urbanisation, Modernisation and ICT. Globalisation, Industrialisation, Urbanisation, Modernisation and ICT are processes of nations’ prosperity and progress as per the current trend. Globalisation, Industrialisation, Urbanisation, Modernisation and ICT and Urbanisation are the process of industry spreading in a country in general that it will bring wealth and prosperity to the people of that country. Globalisation, Industrialisation, Urbanisation, Modernisation and ICT is a series of social, economic, technological, cultural, and political changes occur in all the stages of society.  Sequel to the above, this paper, mainly focused on the consequences and effects of Urbanisation, Modernisation, Globalisation, and ICT process with context to the Nigerian society.
